Pennovation Works is excited to host a community concert featuring the renowned Andre Thierry and Zydeco Magic. Enjoy a live performance by our opening act, West Powelton Drumline. Join us for New Orleans theme cuisine and refreshments, family fun, and community resources.
Andre Thierry is a Grammy nominated musician and a leader in Zydeco music. At the age of 12, he formed Zydeco Magic and his talents have taken him world wide where he travels and spreads his passion for Zydeco music and heritage.
West Powelton Drumline, established in 1991, is a staple of the Philadelphia drill tream tradition. They have performed at Universal Studios, Philadelphia’s Welcome to America July 4th parade, Philadelphia 76ers halftime, Phillies World Series Championship Parade, and Showtime at the Apollo.
We are thrilled to host Andre Thierry and Zydeco Magic and West Powelton Drumline.
